Being me, wasn't and isn't simple as it may looked- trust me. But I remembered how it all began... This entry is dedicated to the ones from KJG - No not Kajang - but KJ Girls... it's an entry about how I went up and where it all started. To the KJ girls, so let me name them... Clarissa, Alyssa, Amanda, Viviana, Diana, Lia Kabade, Bellarina, Gizelle Miss Vogue, BabeParis, Yuz Gordon, Ayyie - this entry is for you ols!
I started this drag-world business way back in 2000, alone, and so and so started with paperdoll shows. But it didn't last long - probably a month or two - as I was busy with my flights back then, and the fact that I didn't have any exposures and I felt, nah - it's just for fun and not so fun also, ehehe. But the real thing happened when I joined Miss KJ 2001 and won that title, the first ever title for me...
Waktu tu adik2 baru mentah lagi - tak tahu apa apa pun. Itu pun my friends dari Subang, jugak, yang suruh I masuk contest KJ Girls nih. It was in November 2001 kot. Waktu tu, as some of you dah tahu, the name Lady LoreaL dah ade dalam irc/internet and also org tahu sbb buat show kat BB and the tube terjatuh dan nampaklah cik ting mek (PUTING Lah!)
So I remembered that contest very well. I was nervous and what not - but cutting the story short - I won the title. I was competing dengan 7 of them from KJ and I won. Waktu tu ade lah history ko jeling aku aku jeling kau - yer lah - masing2 belum kenal hati budi. So lepas that contest - ok lah, nama melonjak naik sikit...
Lepas tu selang 2 4 bulan, I think dah 2002 kot - January kot - ade Supermodel. Bertanding lagi... and this time, KJ girl yang menang me got second. Sentap tak hengat time itiew. Ha - selepasss dari kes Supermodel nih la baru semua kian rapat... rapat sangat lah pulak lepas itiew. Clubbing sekali, keluar sekali, cc sekali - kalau tak der flight - memang KJ lah tempat yang kutujui.
Pun dalampada itiew, ade jugak some times yang kiteorang gaduh - biasalah - group mana yang tak gaduh... tapi at the end, ok balik. Takkan putus air dicincang gittu lah.
Banyak contests yang we as KJ girls bertanding sekali, naikkan nama KJ Girls - Miss World, Miss Universe, banyak lah lagik - buat show pun gunakan Viviana and the KJ dancers - contest pun KJ Girls... from where? KJ - everything KJ lah kirenye.
I know I may have worked my way up to where I am now, tapi, kalau tak bermulanya dengan KJG, I doubt I'd come this far... seriously. Through thick and thin, happy times, sickening times, gaduh - to some points enjoy joli sekali, kalau sangkak duit tak der biar sekali - but one thing - none of these girls berkira be it bab duit, advice, bab bab pinjam barang/ make up, dresses... sampai lah now... from 2001 up till 2005... :)
The thing is with this group - it seems that kitaorang selalu buat things in one group... oh gurls! REMEMBER kalau kita kuar clubbing? Mesti semua one colour concept, ingat tak!?!?!? Ehehehe... oh oh! REMEMBER the times kite gi carik Hantian (hantu) kat Travers Hill, Bukit Tunku ngan apa tah satu lagi nama tempat itiew.... ehehehehe. Banyak lah we do stuffs together - EVEN we worked in the same airline, REMEMBER? EHEHEHE! Suke lah - Remember Bangsar outings? Oh and erm, UPTOWN!? Lawak lah! Suke tau catwalk2 LOSE MY BREATHE kat Uptown itiew.
But starting 2004 - the year semua, majority buat haluan sendiri. Viviana with her boutique business thingie, Babe Paris - Malacca... Lia Kabade moved on to Ampang and stuffs... but what I am truly amazed, is how semuenye masih mampu bertahan bernaung dibawah the name KJ Girls lagi. That one I'm still amazed. Biar lah ade duduk Puchong ke, Ampang ke, Gombak ke... Subang ke... by the time kalau ade anything nak gathering - Raya ke, shows ke, gath ke, semue mesti muncul - ade yang duduk Ipoh pun balik mai KL ok!
Clarissa:- So be we call her 'opah' in the family - Rissa, aku tak yah cakap banyak pasal kau. U know who you are lah kan. Ko banyak nasihatkan aku dan dalam time2 susah, kau banyak menolong aku. Bab duit ko tak berkira, bab makan ko sanggup share... bab jantan? Dinch komenz u ols... hahahah! Above all, Rissa is very independent dan kuat menyimpan - simpan ape? Sendiri mau ingat itieww... ekekeke
Alyssa:- Girl you know I could just stay up all night and bitch about everything with you. You are like the girl-with-an-attitude-and brains thingie. Great to have known you and suke bila dapat bersembang bab bab intellectual dengan hang. Suke lah! Ekekek. She can come up with 1001 subject kalau nak bersembang bab intellectual - senang nak diajak berbincang. Dan kuat melatah dia, macam Rissa... elok la. Clarissa - Alyssa -sa kat belakang tu.. sama dua dua kuat melatah.. ekeke
Amanda:- I know Amanda later dari the rest of KJ girls... ade lah historynye kan, Amanda kan
kan kan? You're funny - that's what I like about you. Dalam sedeh2 aku suke time2 ko melalak Ziana Zain kau itiew, melalak yang sampai mampu pecahkan cermin tingkap umah neighbour itu. And I started to baik ngan ko bile ko couple ngan ehem ehem kan? Ehehehehe
Viviana:- The one yang success dengan business dan show sekarang - dari doin' nothing now dah ade something. Keep it up. Viviana yang merupakan rakan seperjuangan dalam miss miss nih, now dah jadik businesswoman cum showgirl. Never berkira when it comes to friends, never knew how to say NO and the fact that he is VERY sensitive dalam diam - nampak like he's happy and gile but the truth is, ramai aibkan his sensitive part of her...
Lia Kabade:- From GB turn Diva turn sicko supermodel??? Now takut tgk keadaan kurus teramat dia tapi dia memang slim dari dulu lagik. Kuat ketawa, PANDAI menyanyi - pandai masak - suke buat open house utk kawan2... hmmm... dan boleh diajak berjalan2. Dan dia punye imaginasi, VERY POWERFUL! Masihkan ingat insiden model balik catwalk show, dan dirogol didalam bilik tidur di dalam condominium mu? Eheheheheehehe
Bellarina:- Need I say more about Belle. Kuat CNN! Heheheh kidding dear. Tapi betul pe, kan? Belle is the one yang mudah kite nak gossip with, have fun, but above all - dia mudah sensitive dengan keadaan sekeliling - positive way lah I suppose... very good dancer, loves to be part of the dancing group and above all - suke melawak.
Gizelle Miss Vogue:- Started off yang paling diam, mudah belajar menari (cepat tangkap le) and tinggi.The only member yang menjadi contoh pada semue member KJ lain for his hardwork, dedication, tak banyak cakap, dan maintain cool dan vogue...
BabeParis:- Ini nak kena olah ayat betul2 silap cakap dia bidas mek balik, terdiam mek. Well - Babe Paris, I kenal dia later sikit dari the rest, but definitely before Amanda. We went through a lot - pain, tears, laughter - gaduh... you name it. Being someone yang well-educated with the English background, Paris memang ade her own stand and believe. Dia tak mudah gentar with what ppl say, doesnt give a shit about ape pandangan org tentang dia (the negative ones lah - yang positive advices tu dia ikut, bagus jugak) and she is one hell of a contender when it comes to competing in pageants especially kalau dia dah pegang mic for Q.A - THAT'S IT! Dia ade some attributes macam me - melodramatic jugak kadang2 but most of the time, she is wiser and matured dari umur dia.
Yuz Gordon - Always nak the best, always nak perfect and above all - always wanna be noticed for who he really is. Once dia nak something - he'll go get it, no matter what. Kuat 'memasak' - very suke mengemas - tapi dia hanye kemas bilik dia jer lah - yang lain dia tak pedulik.. ekekeke... dia nih pun very matured jugak compared to his age.
Ayyie - DATO! Ehehehe - gelarannye. Well - dia lah the 'MAN' of the group... ye ke? Hmmm... Always tried to blend in to the conversation - at times serious - eh, MOST of the time serious. Funny at times, and dia nih pun once dia nak something tu, like kalau dia kata A, A lah kehendakknye. Tak der B, tak der C, kan Dato kan kan kan kan? :)
I think itu jer lah kot. Just a thought of saying thanks from the bottom of my heart. Throughout these years, I may have never said "THANK YOU and you mean the world to me" a lot to you guys... and to some maybe I jarang appreciate what you guys have done for me... Oh and VIVIANA jugak lah mula2 ajar mek make up ok! Amanda lah banyak ajar mek menari! Babe Paris ngan Alyssa la banyak brainwash me kalau bab IQ utk beauty pageant! Miss Vogue la yang banyak tolong jaga barang during show or pageant! Lia Kabade - Clarissa lah rakan seperjuangan cik sit dan cikndut rider! Eheheheeh...
So I am taking this kesempatan, and having the whole world know now... WITHOUT ALL OF YOU FROM KJ - I WOULD NOT HAVE MAKE IT. The past few years kite semue berkawan, we banyak went all the way up and also down the hill, together... as a group, as a family. With that I would like to say, having the world reading this - I AM FOREVER GREATFUL to you ols semua. Terima kasih banyak2 atas persahabatan yang telah terbina. I know some of u may laugh - ape laaa si Lady nih merepek - but biar lah I say what I wanna say, from the bottom of my broken heart. Buatnye kalau aku tak sempat nak cakap, kan kumenyesal sepanjang zaman... Thank you, Terima kasih, and yes, I love you all - SEMUE - tak kire we've bergaduh before this, or secretly hated each other during pageants or what not - semue tu, me tutup buku, me say I'm sorry, maafkan me yang lemah lagi kadangkala tak terkawal perasaan dan tingkah laku - apa apa pun I am glad to be friends with u ols, tak kisah la maybe some tak berperasaan sebegitu - but I am happy to in this group friendship, and also I am forever greatful TO HIM for having you guys in my life...
